For Him Ministries was founded in Nairobi, Kenya in 2006 with a single and unwavering conviction: that the human voice, raised in harmony and consecrated to God, carries the power to change hearts. What began as a small group of believers committed to a cappella gospel music has grown into a celebrated ministry that has touched lives across the African continent.
Rooted in the tradition of gospel a cappella — inspired by the likes of the Acappella Company, Vocal Union, One Voice, Take Six, and Stand Music — For Him Ministries has always believed that music stripped down to pure voice is one of the most powerful forms of worship. No instruments, no production tricks. Just voices aligned with the Holy Spirit.
Over two decades, the ministry has recorded three studio albums, ministered in Kenya, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, and beyond, and participated in countless worship experiences, evangelism outreaches, and gospel events. Their music blends rich African harmonies with contemporary gospel inspiration to create a sound that is both deeply rooted and powerfully present.
